DISTRIBUTION/ MARKETING CHANNELS

Distribution is a key element of providing satisfaction in the market place. It involves the physical movement of products to ultimate consumers. A product’s availability is one of the requirements of an exchange. 
Distribution is not simply a matter of moving products into the hands of consumers; it involves a product’s movement through all the stages of development; through manufacturing to final sales.

Distribution therefore is a key aspect of adding value to raw materials, of building an appropriate bundle of utility and of moving products to market.
